World's Most Dangerous Band Releases a New Album

Paul Shaffer reunites with The World's Most Dangerous Band for a new album on sale today (Friday).

David Letterman's musical savant and sidekick serves up all-star lineup of guest vocalists such as DionJenny LewisDarius RuckerShaggy, and Valerie Simpson. Shaffer and Late Show bandmates Will Lee and Felicia Collins also take their turns at the microphone, backed by the musicianship that made Paul famous.

There are soulful covers of "Some Kind of Wonderful," "Cast Your Fate to the Wind," "Yeh, Yeh," "Why Can't We Love Together" and Sam Cooke's "Win Your Love for Me." There's also a new song, co-written by Shaffer and producer Richard Gottherer -- "Happy Street," sung by Paul's friend-since-his-SNL-days, Bill Murray. An animated video has been posted on YouTube.

Paul and the band have announced several live shows, beginning April 22nd at Westbury, New York.
